There people who use public torrent sites and then theres people that use private torrent sites.... private torrent sites are better..
An appropriate analogy would be this: Its just like asking if people use the internet... people use the internet in two pays.. You can use free internet (at least in the US at WIFI hot spots or you use payable internet... The public wifi is slow and while payable internet has many options like speed...
I am offering membership to a private torrent site to all torrent users because I myself used to be a public torrent user which suck bacause no one seeds back and you get tracked and you get slow download speeds... MY private torrent site is faster, more variety, gets updates before anyone else and best of all its free to be a member... all you require is a invite... from me... soooooo eve-mail me.

I call bull**** on that.
To regulate members on a private torrent you need user/pass. That pins an ID on you. Public trackers don't need a user/pass, all they have is an IP address... which, because of the nature of the internet, cannot be used to track you.
People can watch a public tracker all day, but all they will get is a huge list of unusable numbers.
And I've yet to get bad speeds from a public tracker.
Public torrent sites post bogus torrents... private torrent sites... the one im offering doesn't and has gets all the new torrents the fastest, and the best part about it.. people actually seed and you get maximum download rate.. of 3mb/s like me.
